🔌Creating, editing and deleting a connector

In this section, we will discover how to create a new connector that will allow you to extract data from your database or service.
Follow the different steps to create a connector:
Go to "Datasources" tab, and click on "Add a connector"
Select the connector you want to configure.
Configure the connector and save it. The connector will appear within the listing of configured connectors.
Please, refer to the section "Setting up a connector" for more details on the setup of our most used connectors. You can also refer to this page in order to discover how to create a dataset from a connector.
Note
Some connectors need a specific installation. Please create a ticket to our support team if you want us to set up one of these connectors on your Toucan instance.
In this section, we will see how to edit the configuration of a connector.
Follow the different steps for that:
Go to the "Datasources" tab
Edit the configuration of the connector and save it
In this section, we will see how to delete a connector that is not necessary anymore for your App.
Follow the different steps to delete a connector:
Go to the "Datasources" tab
Confirm the deletion of the connector. If a dataset uses the connector you are trying to delete, you will have a warning message and be able to select child datasets that you would like to delete simultaneously.
Click on the "Settings" action within the actions menu of the connector you want to edit
Click on the "Delete" action within the actions menu of the connector you want to delete
